Hearing loss in Las Vegas
Could You Have Hearing Loss? Signs to Watch For
For most people hearing loss is a natural part of aging; for others it follows illness or years in a loud workplace — and in a city of casinos, concerts and conventions, noise is everywhere. It usually starts with life’s quieter sounds and shows up as trouble following conversations with friends and family.
- Speech sounds muffled, or people seem to mumble
- You miss soft, high sounds like chirping crickets
- Trouble understanding people in a crowd or restaurant
- You turn the radio or TV up — or others say it’s too loud
If any of these sound familiar, a hearing exam is the place to start. It’s easy, painless and non-invasive, done at our office, and you get your results the same day.

HANDS DOWN! Carrie is the best Audiologist in Southern Nevada! I have been a client of Carrie’s for over 5 years, currently living on the East Coast and she still takes the best care of my hearing device and my hearing! KUDOS to Carrie!
— Adam P. I came to Southern Nevada Audiology after my Ears, Nose & Throat Doctor said I had a rare hearing loss in both ears. Carrie did a great job with me. We had to first find the right hearing aid for me then she patiently took the time to get everything right. I now can hear more clearly and I feel more included with everything in my life! Thanks Carrie!

How do I know if I need a hearing test?
Common early signs are speech that sounds muffled, trouble following conversation in a crowd or restaurant, and turning the TV up louder than others like. If any of these sound familiar, a hearing assessment is the place to start. It’s easy, painless and non-invasive, and you get your results the same day.
Do you test children’s hearing?
Yes. We provide full audiological assessments for both pediatric and adult patients — complete hearing health care for all generations.
Which hearing aid brands do you fit?
Southern Nevada Audiology is an independent clinic, so our audiologist can dispense hearing aids from all major manufacturers and recommend what fits your hearing loss and lifestyle — not one company’s products. Compare hearing aid styles.
Can you repair a hearing aid I didn’t buy from you?
We provide repairs for most makes and models. After a listening check we tell you whether it can be repaired on-site or needs to go to a repair facility. The typical repair bill is $50–$300 per hearing aid, and we give you an estimate first.
Do you accept insurance or offer financing?
We accept all major insurance providers and all major credit cards, offer payment plans and CareCredit, and are a service provider for MSL VES (Veterans). See financing and insurance.
